Quito Accommodation

You are met at the airport by your host family. Every Monday at the school the students are welcomed by the team who provide general information about the program, country, etc. Then, you receive a map of Quito, and your teaching material. Next, all students take a placement test and an oral proficiency interview with the Director of Studies. Later, a meet-and-greet with the teachers will get you off to the perfect start.
You will stay with an Ecuadorian host family with a private bedroom with breakfast and dinner, and laundry service. The home stay is 10-25 minutes away from the school and tends to be a house or an apartment. However, the word “family” should not be taken too literally, because your family could be a single parent, a married couple, or an elderly individual. The home does not have more than 3 rooms available to be rented, and generally they have pets and outdoor spaces such as a garden, a balcony, front yard or backyard. These houses are conditioned to receive guests and provide services such as changing of sheets and towels once a week.
Moreover, the host family makes an effort to try and make you feel like a member of the family. This accommodation will offer you the opportunity to experience the common life of a Ecuadorian family.
